Pakistan became independent on 14th August 1947 and this blog post of 14th August DP for Girls will make you unique on this historic day.
Who made flag of Pakistan is a story, as soon as the month of August begins, the whole country is full of national flags. National flags are hoisted on houses and buildings. So small and big national flags are available at the shops in the streets.
National flag stickers on copies and national flag badges on pockets are also seen, so we thought why not provide some important information about the national flag of Pakistan, the green crescent flag.
When the provincial assembly of Sindh approved the proposal in favor of partition according to the terms of partition, Quaid-e-Azam from Pakistan and Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru from India were also included in this committee. Committee meetings were usually held in the morning at the Viceroy's house. They used to gather at the Quaid-e-Azam's house for a consultation and there the next course of action was discussed and other issues were also discussed. Quaid-e-Azam said that the Viceroy had discussed with him the Pakistani flag and said that the representatives of India were willing to reserve one-fifth of their flag for the British Param i.n. Great Britain. The Viceroy asked Quaid-e-Azam about Pakistan's attitude and he replied that he would consult his colleagues and inform the Viceroy. Abdul Rab Nishtar submitted that he should not accept this proposal because our condition is different from the rest of the villages. Those countries are occupied by British people, they have a special relationship with the British flag, we want freedom from British occupation and we have neither ethnic or religious relationship with them. Our country will be an Islamic country and placing a flag in the flag of this country will be a reminder of our slavery. And above all, how could the slab in it be acceptable to our nation, and we all agreed not to accept the Viceroy's proposal? So Quaid-e-Azam informed the Viceroy that Pakistan could not place the Union Jack on the flag for many reasons whatever India's response. After that, it was asked what is Pakistan's proposal regarding the flag.
Finally, it was found that there are many minorities in Pakistan. Instead of one part being kept white, all colors are mixed, thus, for one thing, all minorities will be represented. And secondly, the presence of white color in Pakistan will also manifest the peace and reconciliation policy of our Islamic country. When Quaid-e-Azam discussed this with the Viceroy, he suggested that the Navy men were experts in recommending flags. After a few days, the navy made and sent small flags, but not all of them were of the style they wanted. During the discussion, Quaid-e-Azam said that it would not be better to keep five stars in five flags to represent the five provinces of Pakistan. Sardar Abdul Rab Nishtar said that the states will join Pakistan and the discussion continued on this topic for a few days.
After further hard work and suggestions, different designs of the flag were made and the result was that a flag design came to the mind of Quaid-e-Azam. The design of which was prepared by Syed Amir-uddin Kedwaii and Master Altaf Hussain prepared the first flag with his own hands, but after some time there were many difficulties with the flag. But by then Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah had passed away.
When the difficulties were mentioned by Liaquat Ali Khan before the Ministers and Assemblies, after continuous discussion it was concluded that the flag should be allowed to remain in its present condition. As it was decided in the Constituent Assembly. The conclusion from this story is that just as Pakistan was achieved through many struggles and sacrifices, our flag also came into existence after going through many difficulties.
The Pakistani flag is a symbol of peace. In a way, the five-cornered star in the flag also refers to the five pillars of Islam, prayer, fasting, zakat, and hajj. There are many days in our country on which the national flag is hoisted with great pomp and glory, this only happens on the days of Home Resolution Pakistan and Independence Day, and Quaid-e-Azam Day. Or the government should issue an order to hoist it on another occasion. Apart from government buildings, the national flag can be hoisted on residential buildings including the houses and residences of Pakistani diplomats in other countries.
